Anantnag, Feb 21 (KF): The historic Achabal garden spring, which had dried up for the first time in recorded history, has now been fully rejuvenated, returning to its original state.
Locals told Kashmir First that the water flow has been completely restored, bringing relief and joy to the residents.
“It’s a moment of immense happiness for us. The revival of the spring, despite unfavorable weather conditions, feels nothing short of miraculous,” said a local resident.
Assistant Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Department, Anantnag, Gowhar Hussain Ganie, confirmed that “The water level at Achabal Spring has risen by a few inches, but not as per the required level. Additionally, other water sources have also not been adequately recharged,” he stated.
