Srinagar, Sep 06: The BJP is eyeing a decisive victory in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu Kashmir, with its sights set on securing 35 seats from Jammu and 10 more from Kashmir to form the next government.
Ram Madhav, the party’s strategist who has been recalled to Jammu Kashmir, expressed confidence in BJP’s plan to achieve this target.
“We will win 35 seats from Jammu and need 10 more from Kashmir,” Madhav said during a function in Srinagar.
He emphasized that the party is well-prepared and determined to form the government in J-K after a decade without elections.
The BJP’s strategy includes a strong focus on both regions, building on their existing base in Jammu while making significant inroads into Kashmir.
Madhav’s return to the region signals the party’s intent to strengthen its position and mobilize support across key constituencies.
