Two Dead, Two Injured After Falling into Under Construction Trench in Kulgam

Kulgam, April 19: Two persons died while two others were injured when they slipped and fell into an under construction trench in Chakpora area of south Kashmir’ Kulgam.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that one Mohammed Ajmal, a resident of Mohantpora district Malda in west Bengal and Mohd Maqbool Dar of Checkpora died when they fell into a trench on Friday afternoon.
“Immediately after the incident the four were rescued by the Police and district administration and shifted to the nearby hospital,” said officials.
Two among them, who were critically wounded succumbed at the hospital.
“Authorities are investigating the incident,” An official said. (The Kashmiriyat)
