Srinagar, July 06: An Army man who was injured during a gunfight with terrorists in the Mudergham area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district succumbed on Saturday.
A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency KDC that one army personnel had received injuries in an ongoing operation. He was moved to a hospital where he succumbed.
The encounter broke out this afternoon after police and security forces launched a search operation in the Mudergham area of Kulgam district.
The operation was going on when the last reports came.
