Pulwama Attack: Injured CRPF ASI succumbs at hospital

Pulwama, Jul 17 (KF): An assistant sub inspector of CRPF, who was injured after militants attacked a joint naka party on circular road near Gongoo crossing in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday afternoon, succumbed to his injuries.

A top police official told that militants fired upon a joint naka party of police and CRPF on circular road, resulting in injuries to ASI of CRPF.

He said that the injured officer identified as Vinod Kumar of 182 bn CRPF was shifted to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The official added that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KNO)
