Missing Kulgam Man’s Body Found in Bijbehara Anantnag

Anantnag, Aug 15 (KF): A male body was found along the banks of river Jhelum near Zirpara Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.

Official sources told Kashmir First that some passersby informed the police about the laying of the body along the banks of the Jhelum. Soon, they said, a police party rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

The deceased has been identified by his brother and family members as Mohamad Ashraf Shah Son of Abdul Aziz Shah 54 years old reident of Behi-Bagh area of Kulgam district.

“The missing report was already lodged at Behi-Bagh Police Station before eight days on August 07,” family said.

The body has been shifted to mortuary at GMC Anantnag. “After completing medico-legal formalities the body would be handed over to his legal heirs,” officials said. (KF)
