Har Ghar Tiranga : DC Anantnag Chairs meeting to finalize Preparations

ANANTNAG, July 18 (KF): Deputy Commissioner Anantnag on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the preparations for celebrations of Har Ghar Tiranga in the District.
The meeting was attended by ADC Anantnag, CPO, ACR,ACD, Sectoral and District and officers, BDOs, and EOs and other concerned officials.
The meeting held detailed discussion on effective and expeditious implementation of set out modalities for Har Ghar Tiranga Initiative.
Speaking on the occassion the Deputy Commissioner said that continuing with the celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the government has launched Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
Dr. Piyush directed officers to complete all the necessary arrangements in advance for successful celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.
The DC asked all the District Heads of departments to submit the requisitions for National Flag for timely and proper distribution of National Flag among the employees.
The DC also directed BDOs and EOs to finalise requisition of flags for institutional and residential buildings of rural and urban areas for distribution of flags.
The DC said district administration has put in place all the necessary arrangements for the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and urged all the stakeholders to work in coordination and cooperation for observing all the events as per scheduled plan.
He also stressed upon all the stake holders to go through the flag code and follow standard Protocol to honour the National Flag, while also announcing the establishment of District Tiranga Control Room, which has to tasked to complete the task of Har Ghar Tiranaga within time.
Panchayat , Block and District level committees have been formulated to oversee the implementation of campaign.
ACD is district level nodal officer for the campaign.
All the committees shall work under the overall supervision of ADC Ghulam Hassan Sheikh.
