Fresh Snowfall in Kashmir Disrupts University Exams, Shuts Jammu-Srinagar Highway

Srinagar, Feb 19 (KF):  Kashmir witnessed fresh snowfall on Monday, leading to a flurry of disruptions. The University of Kashmir, prioritizing student safety, postponed all examinations scheduled for February 19th and 20th due to the inclement weather. New dates for the postponed exams will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, students enrolled in Cluster University Srinagar can breathe a sigh of relief as their exams are proceeding as per schedule.

Travelers planning to use the Jammu-Srinagar NHW face a setback due to landslides at Mehar-Cafteria and Tabela Chamalwass. Authorities advise against travel on NH-44 until the weather improves and the road is cleared. Contacting TCU before starting your journey is crucial for the latest updates and ensuring a smooth travel experience. (KF)
