Bandipora, Aug 20 (KF): Two border villages in Gurez valley of north Kashmir’s Bandipora have been suffering due to absence of mobile network connectivity.
Locals told Kashmir First that the two villages Kilahay Tulail and Chorwan Gurez does not have mobile network and locals needed to cover long distance for making phone call.
They also said at the time when phone connectivity is running all over country, their villages still lack this facility.
Students are suffer here, their studies have been affected due to absence of network connectivity said Adil ahmed one of student.
One of the local namely Asif ahmed said that “We have been suffering due to absence of network connectivity, “They told adding despite attempts, concerned authorities have failed to construct mobil towers to resolve the issue.
Another local Reyaz Khan said that Network Companies especially Jio has tereibly failed in constructing of mobile towers in these two villages despite many requests by locals. From the last few years, it seems our two villages have been ignored by these mobile companies.
Another student of the area namely Neyaz Khan said that “It is miserable, suffocating and has become an obstacle as far as online studies of the students are concerned, Adding that Nowadays internet is became a daily need for everyone’s life. “The students are facing lot of problems due to absence of network here,” Neyaz said.
The group of local residents said that, “We request the concerned companies to kindly launch mobile towers in these villages of Gurez valley of North Kashmir’s district bandipora and resolve this issue.
Kilshay Tulail and Chorwan Gurez residents also appealed Deputy Commissioner Bandipora to intervene into the matter so that the matter can be solved. (KF)
