Missing Jammu youth’s body recovered in Pakistan
Jammu, July 14: Family of Jammu youth, who allegedly had jumped into the Chenab River and his body was recovered in Pakistan, has requested the Government of India to help bring back his mortal remains.
According to police, a missing report of the youth, identified as Harash Nagotra, son of Subash Sharma, a resident of Akhnoor, was filed on June 12, a day after he went missing. His motorcycle was recovered on the banks of Chenab.
Almost a month after his death, his family received a whatsapp message from a Pak official that his (Harash’s) body was recovered from a canal in Sialkot on June 13.
Devastated by this information, the family has requested the central government in writing, seeking intervention in bringing back Harash’s mortal remains from Pakistan.
