Light Rain or Snow Expected in J&K Over the Next Few Days

Srinagar, Feb 25 (KF):  The Meteorological Department (MeT) has issued a weather update for Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) for the coming days.

Kashmir can expect the possibility of light rain or snow at many places during the night of February 26th transitioning into February 27th.

Scattered light rain or snow is then forecast for February 28th and March 1st.

Finally, the period from March 2nd to 4th is expected to bring light to moderate rain or snow across most of J&K, with the possibility of heavier snowfall in some higher reaches.

The MeT advises caution, particularly for those residing in hilly areas, urging them to avoid venturing into avalanche-prone zones and to stay informed by following official avalanche warnings and advisories. (KF)
