Srinagar, April 16: A mix of wet and dry weather conditions has been forecasted for Jammu and Kashmir over the coming week.
On April 16, a spell of thundershowers is expected in many parts of the region towards late afternoon. Gusty winds and heavy showers cannot be ruled out. Farmers are advised to avoid spraying orchards today.
The weather is expected to improve on April 17, with mostly dry conditions across the region. This provides a suitable window for agricultural activities, including orchard spraying.
From April 18 to April 20, multiple spells of thundershowers are anticipated in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Gusty winds and heavy showers cannot be ruled out. Farmers are advised to suspend orchard spraying during this period.
On April 21, mostly dry weather is expected, though a shower in a few parts cannot be ruled out. Farmers should assess local conditions before proceeding with spraying activities.
The weather is expected to improve further on April 22, remaining mostly dry. Favourable conditions for orchard spraying are anticipated.
