Government Orders Transfers of Key ARTO Officials in J&K

Srinagar, April 16: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Transport Department of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of several ARTOs and in-charge ARTOs. The changes were made in the interest of better administration and service delivery across the Union Territory.

According to Government Order No: 33-JK(TR) of 2025, dated April 16, the following transfers have been made:

Muazzam Ali (JKAS), currently serving as ARTO Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as ARTO, Flying Squad, Srinagar.

Abrar Ahmed Kralpak (JKAS), who was serving as ARTO Anantnag, has now been posted as ARTO Doda. He will also relieve ARTO Kishtwar of the additional charge of the post.

Mubashir Jan Bhat, I/c ARTO Flying Squad, Srinagar, has been posted as ARTO Anantnag.

Mohd. Mukhtiar Sofi, who was awaiting adjustment orders, has now been posted as ARTO Baramulla.

The order was issued by Niraj Kumar (IAS), Secretary to the Government, Transport Department.
