Doda Encounter: One terrorist killed, firefight on

Srinagar, Aug 14: A terrorist has been killed in the ongoing gunfight in the Assar area of Doda in Jammu region, army said. The slain terrorist’s identity is not known yet.

Army said that they have recovered one Ak-47 rifle and one M4-rifle, which they said was recovered earlier.

The encounter had resumed earlier today after a nightlong lull.

“One #terrorist has been neutralised in the ongoing operation. One AK 47 has been recovered in addition to the M4 rifle. Intermittent exchange of firing continues as the operations are ongoing,” army wrote on its official X-handle.
