Srinagar, Aug 19: A Central Reserve Police Force inspector was killed in a terrorist attack in the Cheel area of Ramnagar district in Udhampur.
Sources told Srinagar based news gathering agency KNO that an inspector of CRPF was killed after being attacked by terrorists during a routine patrolling operation by the 187 Battalion in the Cheel area.
Preliminary reports suggest that approximately 30-40 rounds were fired at the patrolling party. The deceased inspector has been identified as Kuldeep.
