Casual laborers stage protest outside CM residence, Demand regularization, wages

Srinagar Jan 29 (KF): Casual labourers of the Jammu and Kashmir Wildlife Department staged a protest outside the Chief Minister’s residence at Gupkar demanding immediate regularization of their services and release of wages.
A large number of workers gathered, raising slogans and urging the government to address their long-pending issue.
The protestors appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene and ensure their job security. “We have been working tirelessly for years, yet we continue to remain in uncertainty.
The government must acknowledge our contributions and regularize us without delay,” said one of the demonstrators.
Expressing their frustration, the workers criticized the authorities for failing to fulfill their commitments despite multiple appeals.
They warned of intensifying their protests if their demands were ignored. (CNS)
