7 Shops Gutted in Devastating Midnight Blaze in Srinagar

Srinagar Feb 01 (KF): At least seven shops were destroyed in a massive fire that broke out in the Parimpora Fruit-Mandi area of Srinagar early on Wednesday morning.

The fire reportedly started in one of the shops and quickly spread to the others, all of which were used as automobile workshops.

Firefighters, along with the help of police and locals, were able to extinguish the flames after a few hours, but not before the shops were completely gutted.

“Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries or casualties in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation,” Police. (KF)
