MeT Predicts Rain, Snow and Dry Spell from May 12-23 in J&K

SRINAGAR, MAY 12 (KF): The weatherman on Sunday forecast intermittent light to moderate rain and snow in higher reaches, accompanied by thunder at most locations on May 12.

13 May: Anticipate light rain at a few places across the region.

14-18 May: Generally dry conditions prevail during this period.

19 May: Light rain expected at a few places, particularly towards the afternoon and evening.

20-23 May: Generally dry weather forecasted for this period, offering a respite from precipitation.

Farmers are advised to suspend farm operations during next 24 hours.

Possibility of Landslides at few vulnerable places.

Possibility of Hailstorm/Gusty winds/thunder/Lightning at few places.

Avoid Boating/Shikara riding during inclement weather. (KF)
