Anantnag, July 13 (KF): J&K Elections: DEO Anantnag Convenes Meeting with Representatives Of Various Political Parties

Anantnag July 13 (KF): Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, who is also District Election Officer (DEO), Anantnag on Wednesday.convened a meeting with representatives of various political parties at DC office Anantnag.

The meeting was convened to review the process of rationalisation of polling stations and publication of draft list of polling stations.

The meeting discussed threadbare various issues including summary revision, accessibility of polling stations besides other necessary issues related to elections.

ADC Ghulam Hassan Shiekh chaired the meeting and informed the representatives of political Parties that a list of draft polling stations after delimitation has been proposed and released by the office and asked them to submit their suggestions and objections within one week.

The meeting was attended by Dy. DEO, Nazia Hasan, EROs and AEROs, officials of Election Department and representatives of various political parties including BJP, INC, NC, PDP, JKAP, JKPC and others. (KF)
