Militant Killed in Encounter with Security Forces in Sopore

Baramulla, Aug 24: A militant was killed during an encounter in a joint operation by Sopore police and the 32 Rashtriya Rifles (32 RR) in the Rafiabad area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, on Sunday.
The incident occurred when a patrolling party, comprising the local police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), came under fire from militants.
